Yet another update in Yahoo files. This one adds accumulator threshold masking for gate, tie, aux B and aux C. For example, this means is you can set up an aux to turn off gates on certain steps until the aux D accumulator reaches a certain level. Another aux should be assigned to 'offset aux D rel', and set with values to increment the accumulator as preferred. This allows patterns to automatically modify over a long period of time. I've also posted a couple of audio snippets to demonstrate a couple of aux events, since the textual description of what these can do seems rather technical and dry, a quick musical example might make it clearer what we're talking about. These are in yahoo files too. 'xed-RndmzNote.mp3' uses one aux to randomize one of the notes in a 4 step pattern, and another to cycle the velocity accumulator downwards - this is controlling filter cutoff on the minimoog assigned to that track. 'xed-DAccThresholds.mp3' starts with another 4 step pattern, but going through a longer cycle of turning on steps as the aux D accumulator ramps up. Velocity accumulator offset is screwing with the filter cutoff again (simply because this is just an edited version of the previous track). An updated 'aux events...pdf' file lists the new events.
