That's it. That the feature we want :->)

All the best

I've just remembered a discussion I think I had with Paul Nagle about this -
I was going to add a 'suspended start' mode, where the P3 would track
incoming midi clock, but not actually start running until you hit start, and
then it start on the next global bar or beat. Might be more easy than having
to hit start at exactly the right moment...

That sounds like a slick feature.... :)

Ok, so would it be possible to have alternate start/stop messages
that can be embedded into a software sequencer? It would be cool to
be able start the P3 running (at the correct time) from a midi
event... (or maybe this is already possible...?)

Aux. Events - Sysex?

2004-05-04 by Julian

A request / sugestion:

What about enabeling sysex strings as possible aux. events?

That would allow some interesting stuff with my matrix 1000 and akai s6000
(i know the 6k has some facility for CCs but the sysex is way more
comprehensive)

What would be very good would be a learn function, possibly with somthing
like max and min for the range.

Just an idea...

Julian
