That's just a CMOS part with input thresholds to suit TTL levels.
It should work fine.

Rapid Electronics no longer stock 74hc241 or 74hct241's  :(
Can't seem to find them on Farnell or Maplin..
Can you suggest an alternative chip or supplier?

Farnell do them - part no. 3113322
I hope this doesn't portend the end of DIP logic...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
