Just saw it will be released *2nd Quarter of 2005!* Sjeez!!! They might as
well announce the Chameleon Mk III for 3d Quarter 2008 as well. These delays
between announcement and release are really getting utterly ridiculous...

that can be controlled with CC# or CV from a
sequenser,

Check out 'infiltrator' on the Chameleon, I've not tried controlling it cia
MIDI CC, but it sure sounds good.

so how about Electrix Warp Factory Vocoder.. read it
has great midi implant and is cheap..but never heard
it in buisness.

Electrix abandoned all their musical gear manufacturing, so you'd only
get one secondhand.
Can't comment on the sound either.
The MAM VF-11 is excellent value for a real analogue vocoder ;-)
The Chameleon is more expensive, but when you get bored with swearing
Cylons, you can turn it into a polysynth, etc. etc.

And I _JUST _received one of the originals from the "used demo sale" they had.

The new one looks like loads of fun, but I'm sure I'll have my hands plenty 
full with what I have.
