i don't think a 'bank select...' message would make that much
difference for me; i don't really look at the keypad & display when i
want to enter playlist edit. i'd prefer the old bank select method,
as it gave you a 'cancel' option..
oh and i want all the stuff Paul wants too. but now specifically
programmed for my own synths...ready by tomorrow please & thank
you. :-D
seriously though, the master/slave bank/part AUX select thing sounds
good..

I assume that's just become an issue with the 'simplified' bank select ?
If that's the case, I think I would prefer to go back to the old bank select
method rather than moving the existing keys about - they've been there a
long time and I'm very used to the locations...
Would it help if, when holding the 'bank' key, the display switched to a
'bank select...' message ? As it is, the only clue you are about to change
bank is the single flashing red LED showing the current bank.
Or is this aproblem you've always had ?

Cheers,
