There's nothing in the code to make it pause there. Very odd...
Anyone else seen that ?

The CC string contants are stored after the direction strings.
Seeing CC names as directions means you probably haven't done a memory
initialise first time you powered up P3. A bounds check there would fix
that, I'll add one in.

Hmm. There shouldn't be. I'd suggest checking the reset cap is the right
value and orientation, but I can't remember off the top of my head what
designator that one is. It's the 10uF electolytic to the immediate left of
the CPU. Also check the soldering and values of the caps and crystal.
