Cool ;-)

And I've got to bring it up to date... There are a couple of new things,
and a couple of things that have moved.
I'm sure you'll work it out though !

Cheers,

And please ask here.... I've been meaning to write something about how
cool I think the Global bar is for a while now but every time I do it
gets too rambly and complicated. I just enthused about the P3 and
things you can do with it on our "Gearhead" list and I'm sure it will
only baffle people... 8-)

WOW paul..looks very cute! Did you leave the walnut
endcheeks 'natural'? On my Midibox project ..I put some
tongue oil on them ..darkens them of course..but it produces a silky
smooth finish.

nice one (again!)

cheers

Natural...
Whilst Im at it, here's a list of changes needed

- *ALL* switch holes need to be 10.5mm
- The G/S/T switchs + Step LEDs + Note Pots + VL pots all need to go about
10mm left,
The mod PCB pushes against the switch PCB.
- Additionally the switch/LED holes need to go about 0.5mm left
- The VL pots need to go south about 10mm (maybe a little more) , becase the
PCB wont mount with the Function switch PCB in place (I had to modify mine
to fit)
- Get the layout for the mode switch/leds from colins, the LEDs are in
slightly the wrong position, and the upper 'mode' word is partly over the
mounting hole.

Also, point to bare in mind for other people, I used a different LCD to
Colins, and as such it has slightly different spacing for the screws and
viewable area, mine was an Orient Display OD-DM1602F which maplin also
sell, it has slightly wider characters.

Holes in the back I leave up to you, I use Chasis mounted Midi/din
connectors and a snap in mains power inlet (mine has an internal PSU)

Hi List,

Same thing here in NH. My package arrived, although I wasn't here to
receive it. Funny thing is: I was at the post office when the postman was
at my house... just my luck... now I have to wait until tomorrow <sigh>

Arrival of Kits in the US

2003-08-19 by Frank Vanaman

Hi everyone...

If anyone's still wondering, mine has arrived today, here on the East Coast
of the US (Baltimore, MD).
Big thanks as well to you, Colin, for providing the funky 'Compuphonic'
labels *and* installing them in the button covers too!

Looks like I need to get some parts and pieces together! :-)

Thanks again!
