Interesting day

Interesting day

2004-10-29 by colinfraser_com

I paid a visit to the engineering company I've been considering for
the production P3 run, and I'm now convinced they're an ideal
choice.
Their factory was very impressive, some of the products they were
making are for very high-class studio equipment manufacturers, and
the ball-park figures we talked about for the enclosure better than
I imagined.
I picked up a lot of useful tips on how to go about finishing the
design too, so I'll be getting the working drawings finished in the
next week, and getting those boxes ordered, assuming I can pick a
colour, finish, silk-screen legend, etc. etc...
Their lead times are around three weeks, so with a bit of luck, we
could be looking at the end of November target.

Cheers,
Colin f

Unless I come up with a better idea by the time I do the silk screen, it'll
be Sequentix.
