If you enable the 'quick pattern select' user config option, then FUNC+track
followed by a step key press for pattern number will select the new pattern
and return to play mode.

I think you can do that - but I'll need to confirm.
If you use 'Bank init' with FUNC held while you press F1 and F2 to confirm
it will only clear the patterns on active tracks. So if you mute all tracks
and do this, I think only the playlists should be cleared. But I'll need to
check since I can't really remember.

There's no option for this, and not really a free key combination that could
be used for it.

There's no way to access the FTS settings from pattern edit, though you
could use Xd to defeat it on the pattern being edited.

You can copy the whole pattern in edit mode, switch to another bank, then
paste the pattern. Saving a pattern to another track in the same bank might
be added, but saving directly to another bank would need a lot of work there
probably isn't space for.
