Just to let you know that this is still a work in progress - I knocked
it up yesterday afternoon over a bottle of wine and made a few fixes
to the more glaring mistakes this morning.

I know it really needs a better layout, organisation, diagrams etc. so
I apologise for that. Hopefully the content will be of value to some
of you and when I get chance, I'll make it better.

Alternatively, anyone wanting to contribute chapters, tips, rewrite
sections or make corrections, drop me a line and I'm happy to oblige.

Cheers

Paul

That's great Paul, many many thanks for taking the time to write it -
I've just skimmed over it and it looks fantastically helpful. I'll be
working my way through it in more detail later but I've already had a
couple of "ahhh, didn't realise it could do that!" moments. Excellent
stuff :)

Pete

Cool, glad to oblige.

Actually, you just gave me an idea. I could put into the tips section
a series of obvious headings such as "Step Input", "Sequence
Morphing", "Ghost Patterns" and so on to show how the P3 can do stuff
that isn't immediately obvious. Good thought, ta.

I'm still searching for some of the tips I've sent tothe list in the
past to paste them in. And any from other folks too, if that's OK?

this is a really cool thing to do :) and makes an excellent companion to the manual and is
great for people thinking about buying a P3 who want to know more about it's functions.
thanks.

If I get it into a nice state I'm sure Colin can convert it for me.

I've just uploaded a PDF version of the User Guide having just
discovered that OpenOffice has an 'Export to PDF' function - not only
am I learning about the P3, I'm also learning how to use my Office
suite at the same time. What a truly educational document it is ;)

As an OSX user and with Microsoft office X, I can convert them to PDF, if
someone would like to send me the document. I can return it as a PDF, though
I can't upload to yahoo groups.
