Yeah, that's a limitation... I guess I could defeat safe stop in playlist
edit, or make it so that FUNC to exit playlist edit only takes effect on
release, and if you press STOP while holding FUNC it acts as safe-stop and
leaves you in plylist edit mode.

I have an entry on the TBI list for some way to reset accumulators while
running. This could be an optional assigment of FUNC+RUN, but again that
causes a problem in playlist edit mode.
If I re-write the playlist edit section as recently discussed, I'll see if I
can put in a soft-key for EXIT. That would leave FUNC free in PLE for this
sort of thing.
