P3 features request

P3 features request

2005-04-21 by jez creek

Colin,
After lots of messing around preparing for my gig here are a few features
I'd really like to be included in the P3 if at all possible
1. A way to have mute hold on or off all the time
2. A way to have the following functions 'sticky' so that they can be used
more easily for live improvisation: PLAY/EDIT, RECORD and LAST STEP
Cheers

I'm going to add some visual cues when modifier buttons are pressed.
For example, while PLAY/EDIT is held in play mode, the display will
show something like:
  1-8 = edit ptrn
holding FUNC will show:
  1-8 = edit plist
and various other things depending on what mode you're in.
I'll look at implementing stickiness at the same time.
I guess these will be some new user conf options to enable it.

Cheers,
Colin f

I remember discussing it, but I can't remember exactly what you were
asking for...
Were you wanting to be able to tie steps for longer notes in a simpler
way ?

Cheers,

Hi;

yes, like the mc 202, it was your press once or the rounded button more on
the left, that step is 16, you press the next one ot twice ,32, and so
on.... but the sequence must be automatically close when you reach a exact
pattern ( or half) as a cool option ( like the TB)

it could be amazing for semi random sequences

Please...

best;

Hans
