Few questions for you guru's...

Is there a FPD for version 1.6 floating around for the P3?

I'm from Canada... has anyone sourced the parts from a Canadian
distributor?

Such as http://www.action-electronics.com/
Otherwise I was considering http://www.mouser.com/

thanks in advance

Not yet... but it's still on my list.

Thank you Colin... I've ordered the Kit (version 1.6) from
AnalogueHaven, but they didn't have any of the cases. I'm trying to
figure out all I need to do to get all the bits together. It seems
the case is one of the more difficult to get. Will there be an FPD of
the case as well as the panel (am I making any sense?).

btw my mother's side are Fraser's from Scotland... Fiddle players and
good drinkers. Suppose you be a distance cousin?

Cheers
Steve

The FPD file is a front panel design for Schaeffer or Front Panel Express.
They don't do 3d enclosures.
Making a case like the factory one will be difficult, but you can always put
a Schaeffer panel onto a wooden box - the thing will still work, it'll just
look more rough and ready.
I have offered cases for sale in the past, but I'm too short of stock to do
so at the moment.
They could be available again in 4 to 8 weeks, if you haven't got a solution
by then.

There are no fiddle players in my family ;-)

Thanks Colin,

To be honest I'm in no rush and would be happy to wait to get a hold
of one of you cases.

Please put me down for one... I'll have my paypal primed.

... no fiddle players in your family? They come in handy for kitchen
parties.

P3 at the Messe

P3 caught on camera at the Musikmesse...
http://www.sonicstate.com/news/shownews.cfm?newsid=2931
...as part of the tour of Sooperbuth.

I'm sitting round the back of the stall with a laptop, in the middle of a
teensy little bug fix ;-)
Fortunately Mr Nagle was on hand to describe P3.

The video was trimmed down to fit so missed out some of the details of
pattern edit, polyphonic recording, remote control etc. Amazingly, I
actually forgot to mention Force To Scale!
One day we'll do our own video. It may feature someone with a cooler
voice, such as the eternally unflappable Mr Smillie perhaps.
