Hello, I have a p3. And I bought me an electribe emx1, wich will arrive next week. I want to sequence without the computer. Now my question; wich of the two must be the master (clock) the p3 or the emx1? greetz ep von haulshoven

So you can drop out your drum parts confident that you can restart them at any point, smoothly and bang on time. I use this feature a lot. There are also P3 aux events to send start/stop/continue which work very well with the electribes - you can do those ultra-fast restarted kick drum things etc. Paul --- www.softroom.co.uk / www.JointIntelligenceCommittee.com

I use this feature a lot. I also find the P3 to be the better master and I'm running both an ER-1 and ES-1, and I've just started using the breakdown tips Paul mentions above and they are fabulous. -Jim (whose first CD featuring P3 work is a day or two away from sending off to press!) www.myspace.com/jimcombs www.myspace.com/sensitivechaos www.touchxtone.com
