I need to have sync in from P3's sync midi connection. Is it possible to set sync connection to in?

The SYNC port is an output only.

The SYNC port will output either DIN SYNC, MIDI clock or both, depending on
your particular P3.
But all modes are output only.

How do you need P3 connected up ?

I need DIN Sync in or out, selectable in user configuration. Handy for a use in a studio.

My fiends zocks box has this and it helps a lot.

I had originally planned to make the DIN sync port bi-directional, and used
an interrupt input on the CPU for the CLOCK.
But it turned out the interrupt could only be triggered on a negative edge,
so the only way to make it work would have been to poll the input pin.
Ugh.
