Hi, could somebody explain the "Gate edit mode 2"?

YRC.
The difference with mode 2 is that you can't turn on GATE on more than one
step at the same time, but creating big long notes is easier.
I may try to add a shortcut to toggle mode 2 as I've found it useful myself,
and going all teh way to user conf to switch is a big pita.
