>hehe, was the bass that loud it made the camera wobble too?
no i think that was the booze being too strong and making the
photographers legs & general coördination skills wobble.. ;)

hrmmm..i'll give it a go; (break out the babelfish..)
the review is from groovetrackers.com, and the writer is not a
regular at parties with this kind of music. he also writes that i
have a different name than i actually do, and that i used a laptop
instead of a bunch of boxes with knobs on. but here goes:
"For some years I have been in search of new styles in music, which
from time to time brings me to strange places. Last weekend it was in
the Bazart in The Hague, that beautiful city behind the dunes.
A couple of weeks ago I came to the darkforce-site by means of a
link of a link in a link. It was immediately clear, at these
parties waltzes weren't being played. I read a subjective report from
a boy who's spontaneously sent report of a previous party had been
placed on the site: "A set was played that many famous party-closing
dj's could learn from." My technosensor was on sharp. 18 October the
next party would be held. In the introduction for this evening word
combinations were used that would spontaneously make you break a
sweat: loeihard, [sorry, no translation for this. means really really
hard. -ed.] in combination with techno. Acid in combination with set.
Raw, in combination with tekno. Psyhedelic, in combination with
lights and so on. Our teKno initiation would be soon..
When we arrived the place wasn't very busy yet, but a small
exploration round is never a bad thing if you find yourself in
unknown territory. The round was made quickly; the Bazart, we
concluded, was a very nice place, kind of Melkweg-alike space, with
Melkweg-alike [a place in amsterdam. -ed.] people behind the bar, and
rather small, which increases the atmoshphere on smaller parties.
the music was already clearly present and indeed at times snoeihard.
[once again, no translation; means louder than loeihard. -ed.] Dj
Rush had already been left way behind at 1 o'clock, and we knew that
from now on it would only get more terrible, or if you want, improve.
records I had never heard before rammed their way into my ears, and
forced my legs into movement for as far as I could find rhythm. mad
record after mad record could not prevent my concentration from
drifting from time to time. At a certain moment this dj was playing
so hard which I could no longer relativise how far up this was on
scale of Richter. Stefan was therefore a great dj laying a foundation
for the rest of the evening.
It was up to BSR [which should be me. -ed.] to give a continuation to
this and I secretly hoped this live dj would spike up the
intelligence level a bit with well-timed breaks and well built
tracks. He took a step back, to fifth speed, building up his set
calmly and had a couple of very good tracks in his laptop. Our
curiosity had been aroused as to what the last dj had to bring, since
we had heard from some people that Joost G was the bomb.
The tempo, the basses, the beats, the claps, the double, what says I
triple basses, the sounds which from all sides he assaulted us with...
Acid Tekno, followed closely by Industrial, followed closely by
Noise, and at the end (when I was longer there) Terror. In spite of
the hardness of his records, and the tempo, this dj could still show
some great mixing, very well timed fingerplaying, at times
intelligent, which made his set more then just brainless stomping.
The crowd was very relaxed, and also the employees and bouncers
couldn't care less what you were doing, as long as you were pleasant
to everyone. Many people seemed to be a more alternative public, and
danced in their own manner or simply stoodfor some time at the side
with their eyes closed. We knew that if we would remain until the end
of the party the terror would give us an ear-infection, therefore we
escaped the Bazart and with that The Hague at about four in the
morning. I wanted to listen to Marco Carola sets, and Sven Vath in
the car, he who would feel like a warm bath for our ears.
We left the music off in the end. Just nothing would be nice for a
while.
Joost G, closing dj and organizer has thrown a great party, and has
done so before, new darkforce events are being announced on the site
darkforce.nl. you must, however, absolutely like this music if you
don't want to have nightmares for the rest of your life. It was a
succeeded evening, but for the coming time even I have heard enough
Acid Tekno, Noise and Industrial...
