Hi Colin,

I'm currently syncing with Ableton Live, because of the 2 sequencers I own (Cubase Studio 4 being the 2nd) it's the only one that seems to allow its individual track inputs to differentiate between MIDI channels. Cubase seems to only allow port assignment to its track inputs, unless I'm missing something. Do you have any ideas? The object, of course, is to have each of P3's 8 tracks control a different instrument within Cubase Studio 4.

Cheers,

James

P3 doesn't respond to SPP because it doesn't have a linear song structure.
I thought about having jump to a point inside the gbar limit based on a
modulus of the absolute bar number given by SPP, but never really decided
whether this would be useful or not.
I assume you're syncing a P3 to an external sequencer - does the external
sequencer not allow you to continue from the start of the nearest bar ?

That's surprising; certainly, (Digital) Performer allows multi-record
into several MIDI tracks at once; as I remember, Vision had something
similar.
