For some reason the ebay.com US search isnt covering the co.uk ebay database properly, I had to go to ebay.co.uk to find it...

That reason would be that the item(s) are listed as 'Post To: United Kingdom', so theoretically they are not available to someone in the US, therefore a standard search on the US ebay would not show them.

You would need to do an advanced search on the US ebay and choose to search for items located in any country, as opposed to the standard setting of items available for postage to the US.
