Dunno if you've done this but it can have a really lovely groove... Try the following on one of your patterns Aux A: Offset Aux D Rel (step 1,value around +7) Aux B: Inact or rnd Aux C (every step, low values, around 15-25) * I have no idea what real difference this makes, ask me when I'm not stoned. Seems to do something. Aux C: Rnd Aux D (every step, low values, around 10-20) Aux D: mask gate,n>dAcc (every step, values make patterns around 1-60 range) Set Aux config for Aux D's accumulator limit to about 60, return to zero, clip then (um) set xDAcD to on. The row D settings shape the pattern in the coarsest tuning, the aux c and the aux b rows control the fine tuning. Experiment with inverting the masking in row D (the opposite polarity mask event). Just thought I'd share that with you cos it's rather nice. Hehehe, is it Friday, no!!! :) -- Paul --- "Effectus super absolutionem" http://www.JointIntelligenceCommittee.com http://www.myspace.com/jointintelligencecommittee

Experiment with inverting > the masking in row D (the opposite polarity mask event). I explained that badly. I have an excuse. I mean that, say, your pattern breaks down over the run of the accumulator, the inverse masking event dAcc>=n would *build* the pattern from pieces into a whole. A good device for a subtle change of tempo dooooooods.....bzzzzzzzz -- Paul --- "Effectus super absolutionem" http://www.JointIntelligenceCommittee.com http://www.myspace.com/jointintelligencecommittee
