Fixable, get yourself a 1K resistor, 100nF capacitor and a diode.
Find the GATE line from the Midi>CV converter,
Cut it,
Put the resistor in series with the cut.
Solder one end of the cap to the end of the resistor thats on the gate side
(NOT the MIDI2CV side)
and solder the other end of the cap to Ground.
Solder a Diode across the cap, 'backwards' ie, Cathode towards the resistor
and anode towards ground.

I had one of these, great for scifi soundtracks, Pink noise through the
filter with cut off set really low, RUMBLY stuff..

I'd love one of these.

These synths:
arp2600 (with a kenton midi Kit-- which i hate Because super HI frequency
digital Blip goes into that gorgeous spring reverb evertime a midi note is
triggered! yuck)
 arp odyssey
Minimoog (serial #411 w /clear mod wheels)
Oberheim xpander
OBMX (dont believe what you read . . . quirky yes, Unique YES)

Sequencers ARP 1623 x 2
tb 303 x 2
& an Evolver synced to the roland drum orchestra,
tr909 tr808 tr606

I get great results using these . . .
But try linking parts together !

The P3 is almost like having all of these in one !
Now i must not kick myself too hard for not moving faster
on the ready built P3's!

Ive been real really good this past six months and have Bought NO new gear!
Ebay sober!
The P3 will be a very smart Investment indeed.
