Final Price - at last !

Final Price - at last !

2003-05-27 by Colin f

I have received a quote from the PCB makers this morning, based on the
current number of pre-orders.

The final price for a set of PCBs (main board, 2 x pot boards, step switch
board, function switch board, keypad and I/O board) plus a pre-programmed
CPU will be 60 ukp *including* shipping in the UK.
Shipping will be 2 ukp extra for Europe, and 4 ukp extra for the US.
In holiday money, that make's roughly $105 to the US, or €85 to Europe.
Actual amounts will depend on PayPal's exchange rates at time of payment.

From the delivery time quoted, assuming there are at least as many real
orders as pre-orders and I haven't made any errors on the final test
boards, the boards should be delivered to me before the end of June. The
prices quoted will only change if a significant number of pre-orders fail
to become real orders.

I won't require payment until just before I place the order.
But I have set a limit on the number of boards I will be ordering in the
first run, allowing for a few more pre-orders before the cut off.
I will guarantee to provide boards to all those who have already
pre-ordered, as long as payment is received at least one week before I
place the order. If you want to pay now to ensure you don't miss out,
that's cool - email me at sequencer@colinfraser.com for instructions.
If you haven't pre-ordered a set of boards, and want to, you'd better get
your order in quick !

Cheers,
Colin f
