Analogue-sequencer

I'm just doing my first backup of my v4 machine and realize I don't
know how many messages I should be seeing in total and the file size.
In v3, the count was 482 and 81.5 KB in file size.

The v4 dump size is variable, depending on how many pattern bars you have
used up.
In a full dump there will be one config block, a block for each bank header
(16), a block for each part (8 * 16), then a block for each bar used.

So the theoretical upper limit is what? (I'm bad with math;^)

On a stock P3, 384 bars.
With a MemX board, 3,584 bars.

In bytes that gives:
Config - 50 bytes
Bank headers - 16 * 51 bytes = 816 bytes
Parts - 16 * 8 * 67 bytes = 8,576 bytes
Bars - 3,584 * 178 bytes = 637,952 bytes

A total of 647,394 bytes.
That'll take a while to dump.
