possible bug in most recent V4?

possible bug in most recent V4?

When I exit a pattern and choose to lose changes, it keeps any pattern
length changes.
Anybody else see this?
Strange that I haven't noticed until now...

Yeah, encountered that. I think Colin has maybe not issued the most
recent beta that fixes it?

As far as I know, it only happens with single bar patterns.
Hit stop/start and the pattern length will change back .
Colin definitely knows about it, but I'm not sure when it will be fixed.

Yeah, I fixed that one...
I've just uploaded the current build, it has a few fixes in it.
I was hoping to have finished the independent aux notes thing by now, but
I've been too busy with other stuff.
Independent aux notes play if their status is enabled, regardless of whether
the main gate is enabled for a step.
I added some code to enable independent triggering, I haven't yet got normal
and independent aux note triggers working at the same time - there needs to
be new events for independent notes, but also some extra code to handle
them.
In the build, you can have all aux notes trigger independently using a 'user
conf' option.
This may suit the way some people use aux notes, but not others.
Also in the new build is a screensaver user conf option, for those v4 users
of you with LCD displays who panic when it goes blank.
And there's a 'bar cut' thing in bar edit mode.

are they going to be flamming/strumming at all? will they have
separate timing/delay to the "parent" note? :-)

(on the octopus, this is called "strum"...)

d.

No space in the data structures even for separate velocities I'm afraid.
You can get some strumming effects on P3 though, using note repeats with a
note offset, and FTS to keep it in tune.
Not that controllable though...
