Is there something similar to 'gang' on the P3? and sculpt lock?

Is there something similar to 'gang' on the P3? and sculpt lock?

Hi all,

I've been having a blast with the P3, learning as much as I can. I did have another question.

Is there something similar to the gangs feature from the cirklon in the P3?

Also, is there a way to use the sculpt without holding down the upper button? Like a sculpt lock?

thanks!

No. Gang on Cirklon was simple to do because of the relative action of
encoders.
In theory P3s absolute pots could be ganged, and steps altered by the same
amount relative to their starting value that any of the ganged pots was
moved, but the idea didn't come up at the time P3 was in active development.

Sculpt is expected to be used in bursts rarely longer than the length of a
pattern, so it's momentary-action only.
Otherwise you'd always be over-writing your stored values when you didn't
release it.

Colin
