Feature request... from an acid head (not me)

Colin-

Through the years I've come to love and depend on the tb-303's
sequencer. The slide and accent are distinctive and extremely musical.
I was thinking out loud with a friend today about how I'd love an
expanded tb-303 sequencer. He and I are on the Cirklon waiting list,
and he mentioned you are open to ideas so here goes:

Accent:

-Create several levels of accent so that your acid 'pops' can take on
even greater depth (granted this won't do anything for a tb-303, but I'm
thinking along the lines of a modular synth that can handle varying
levels of cv)
-Create several accent destinations so that one accent could, for
example, trigger the amplitude and filter opening, and another could
trigger a pitch bend or LFO, etc

Slide:

My Devilfish has a variable skew rate on the slide which is pretty cool,
but let's get crazy with things.

-Include variable slopes such as inverse log and log curves.
-Allow routing envelopes and/or LFOs to modulate the slides.
-Allow different slide types within a given pattern.

I don't have a Cirklon (yet) and have only skimmed the manual. I'd bet
that some of these things are already possible, and I apologize for not
having done solid due diligence.

Thanks for creating this monster and as always, keep it acieeeeeeeeed.

The stock tb303 does only respond to accent on or off.
Most MIDI controlled 303s (such as my MIDIBass interface) use a threshold on
the velocity level to trigger accent.
If it weren't quite so complex electronically, it would be sweet to have an
increasing velocity above the threshold level able to increase the accent
knob setting on a 303.

I would think varying destinations of accent would be simpler as a function
of the receiving synth.
If you had a voltage comparator & switching module, you could use varying
levels of velocity CV to alter different aspects of a patch depending on
accent level.
With Cirklon CVIO and P3 pattern, you can easily control 4 other CV
parameters with the auxes, on top of the note and velocity CVs per step.

You can control the slide time per step on a CVIO output using an aux
assigned to a CC.
There's a choice of expo or linear slide on the outputs, though that isn't
under sequencer control yet.
I've got another slide mode or two to add when I've got time.
The first would be a constant time linear slide.
That involves dynamically altering the linear slide rate so that slide
between consecutive notes always takes the same time.
IIRC the OSCar did this.

Cheers,
Colin
