Colin,

Now you're asking!

I don't know if it's just me, but I like diagrams. I find I can grasp
things like the relationship between patterns, parts and playlists
much quicker if there's a diagram to go with the explanation. That's
what I tried to do for myself. (Funny- my wife always says she has to
draw me a diagram!!)

I haven't even scratched the surface of what the P3 is capable of, for
example, I haven't used playlists yet; but it's a fun voyage of
discovery. Trouble is, Colin, you keep moving the goalposts by
adding more functionality ;->)

I wonder if it will turn into the 80/20 syndrome of Micr$oft products,
where 80% of users only use 20% of the functions available.

Hmmm...

All the best

Andy

Cool.

Or 'brightness', if it's a PLED display.

Next time I'm powering up a new P3 (should be tonight), I'll have a look at
that particular problem. It looks a bit scary if you're not expecting it,
but must just be down to some combination of invalid play mode state.
Init fixes it, but it would be nicer if it could recover automatically, so
you'd just end up with random nonsense in the patterns.

That's standard practice. I never seem to get them right.

If there's something you think could do with more detail in the manual, do
let me know !

Cheers,
Colin f

Looking at the freaks that visit this list, I'm not worried
about that at all. :)
