All of the above! I had a chance to look at a prototype of this
module a bit at NAMM in January (pic here:
http://www.fdiskc.com/usrsyn/namm/2004/images/rs370+
375.jpg), and both killer apps you mention here apply, and I'm
sure in the right hands even more unique uses could be found.
Also, Bob mentioned at the show that once he finishes this up
he's going to start work on a similar module of filters... so it
sounds like he's got big plans for a modular hybrid polysynth!
