The examples in the Strange book are more geared towords Buchla equipment if I remember correctly. Not that they can't be adapted. Another great book, also out of print and going for upwards of $74USD used is Barry Schrader's Introduction to Electro-Acoustic Music. It's an analytical approach to electronic music composition - very interesting, very informative.
