Bus connector for Doepfer bus board

2004-07-13 by ilanode

Hi list, I'v posted earlier on my RS290 which will be housed in a
Doepfer rack. I received my RS290 by now and soldered a connector
for the RS290 to my Doepfer bus board.
Peter posted on the ASys power supply that it is grouped in pairs of
4 for the different voltages and ground. On the RS290's pcb it reads
(from left to right) -12, 5, 12, 0 Volt below the ic-socket which is
used as a power connector. So my connector supplies to the 4 left (2
up; 2 down) 12 Volt, and so on with the next group as indicated.
The 6 ground wires from the Doepfer bus board spread over the group
on the right since I guess there is one common ground.
To prevent me from accidently blowing up my module I'd liked to
verify my connections with you.
Peter once gave a hint how to test it on the IC but I'm uncertain
which pin has which number. Orientation notch of the socket to the
left it goes from the above right corner (pin 1) ccw from to 16?
Unforetuantely the voltages are stated upside down on the RS290
which contributes to my confusion. I'm no tech-head. Any help highly
appreciated, thanks, Ilanode
