FS: French Connection

FS: French Connection

2008-04-10 by jalmari3

I have Analogue Systems "French Connection" Ondes Martenot type
controller for sale.

Condition: Only little used at home. Mint (look below)
Purchased: 10. November 2006
Location: UK, Cornwall (look below)
Price: Euro 1500 + shipping
Reason for selling: I have found, that trombone is enough for me...

Price at MESI France is Euro 2250 (150% from my price):

Connection,366.html

Actually the unit is located in Finland right now and is not
working!. This is most likely due to faulty transformer, but you
don't have worry about it: As soon as I hear about your serious
*intention* to buy the instrument, I am going to send it to Analogue
Systems to be checked and fixed at my expense. Only after they have
confirmed everything is OK, should you do the payment (Euro 1500 plus
shipping from UK). Then Analogue Systems will send the unit directly
to you. This "plan" is meant to save shipping costs and to shorten
storage time at Analogue Systems. It is for your confidence too.

This is me playing eyes closed and after not much practicing. Unlike
Theremin, the French Connection is easy to play - better intonation
is possible:

I took some pictures:

A scratch is seen in picture "FC_Left_side.jpg". I never noticed it
until today.

Come on gents! The price is 2/3 of the price at MESI France. The unit
will ship to you directly from Analogue Systems.

OK. I noticed that the MESI price for French Connection is not
exactly a bargain: Price at Analogue Systems is only 1250 UK pounds
including 17.5% VAT. Also, Euro is quite strong at the moment.

My new price is Euro 1100 plus shipping!
