RS 290 - call me shallow

RS 290 - call me shallow

2003-08-29 by (i think you can figure that out)

Is it shallow to be helplessly in love with a module?

don't answer this.

Anyway - I wanted to pass on a little thing I tripped on whilst just
dicking around with my Analogue System's RS290 DSP delay.
The following mpg file (PC people are going to have to change
the suffix to 'mp3') is of a very simple patch, once unprocessed
and then through the delay:

It's real time and possible by the 290's ability to receive analog
voltages for the control of delay time. You will hear a simple
two-voice filter sweep (from two sines going through two
Blacet/Wiard Mini Waves, into a bandpass filter, swept by a
simple attack only envelope). That same envelope is used to
sweep the 290's delay time and overall placement (pan).

Enjoy (or not),
