Power Supply - Europe

Power Supply - Europe

2004-05-27 by synthtrader

hello,

Anybody know where I could get a power supply with connections for
Asys modules? Europe (Italy) would be nice though I guess a 110v
power supply and power converter could work. I don't have the module
list on this computer but the count is like 10 modules or so, not
too many, including the RS-200 Sequential controller and
Programmable Scale Generator. Everything else = normal size.

Here is the deal, I'm trying to sell a bundle of modules to a guy in
Italy and we were going to get the case from Proma in order for him
to save some money. That leaves us without a power supply. I asked
Bob Williams who referred me to Big City Music, even globally.

Otherwise if anyone is selling a case with power supply either in
the USA or Europe I'd consider it.

Thanks, Shawn Cleary

Almost any linear supply can be wired for Euro or US power. Go to Mouser,
look at the Condors. It all depends on how you wrie up the primary side of
the transformer - which WILL need to be wired, with a switch, with a fuse,
the whole magila.

But---Condor supplies are excellent. You practically don't need a fuse they
fold back so quickly in a short circuit situation.

hope this helpos,

P
