I was just logging on to ask what people thought of the RS130 Scale
Generator, and I find one for sale.
I'm still interested in what people think of the unit.
But alex how much did you want for the RS130, and where are you
based? - Darren

I'm in Beccles, Suffolk, England. I'll post worldwide. As for a price -
not sure - the item is "as new" used in a studio and smoke free
enviriment. Perhaps you would liketo make me an offer?

Not a prob if you want me to post it. I've sent loads of studio gear world
wide. I know how to package!
Saying that, I'll be in central London next week, Camden, Carnaby Street,
and West End in the Evening.

Must let you know, someone else is interested at £225. But not sent
payment yet. The way I see it, first come.....first served.

Let me know if your interested.

PS. have you got the video from Analogue Systems - very helpfull when
starting.

Re: [analogue_systems] New Cabinet

2004-07-23 by Steven O'Connor

Hi All

I'm just developing a great new cabinet design for doepfer/as modules.

I'm hoping to go into small scale production and so would appreciate
any development help at this stage!
I'll post photos next week.

For now it's a vacuum formed, high gloss white/walnut laminate finish
design with 2 rows. Room for about 18 standard doepfer/as modules (or
maybe 9 and a standard 19" space for effects...)

In between we have a 30mm horizontal strip containing some handy
multiples, 'leapfrogs' (jump from one side to the other), external
inputs/outputs...

We still have about 120mm in the horizontal strip to fit some more
sockets - any ideas? More multiples?

Also I was considering 20 or so unwired sockets on the extreme left to
hang spare cables. Would anyone else use this 'patchbay'?

Thanks for any input...

Steven

I'm kind of surprised you can vacuum-form a sheet thick enough to be used in
a cabinet. How thick will the plastic be?

Re: [analogue_systems] New Cabinet

2004-07-24 by Steven O'Connor

years of furniture skills make it possible!

summary from the feedback so far (thanks to everyone):
1. headphone socket
2. multiples, multiples, multiples...
3. walnut finish
4. 1/4" rear ins/outs

Everyone has a unique take on the ideal cabinet - so maybe some space
to customize??

Steven
