The problem is this pedal only can reach a value of 118 when it is full pressed. Not that it's much comfort, but I strongly suspect the pedal itself CAN reach 127: in my view the problem lies with the BCF2000. I myself have a Roland EV-5 pedal. When I connect it to any other device (admittedly all Roland products: an R-8 drum computer, a GS-10 multi-effect processor, etc.), there is never any problem reaching 127. However, connecting my EV-5 to the BCF leads to the very same problem you're reporting for your DP-8. Actually, the EV-5 has a range-limiting wheel: when I set it to one extreme, the pedal range is 0-118 on the BCF (just like you), but at the other extreme of the wheel I get 127-127! The problem seems that Behringer (or at least the BCF) uses a different protocol than Roland concerning electrical resistance of foot controllers (possibly even in terms of wiring). On the other hand it might simply be a bug in the BCF's firmware, in which case our Yahoo-group's "firmware-taskforce" might be able to fix this bug one day - but don't hold your breath. About 6 months ago, when I discovered this problem, I actually went back to the shop where I'd bought my BCF: they let me try Behringer's FCV100 foot pedal - I seem to remember that the FCV1000 did work fine with the BCF. Still I think it's completely ridiculous that the BCF can't interpret our Roland pedals correctly. Mark.
