Hey - I am the GenMce developer
1. You do not need GenMce with a BCR2000 and the ableton preset.
I am not even using GenMce, currently. The BCR works great with it.
2. You don't need to run midiox. Midiox is a great utility for
analyzing your midi data.
3. Midiyoke - is a virtual midi port, so you can patch midi around
inside the computer.
The same guy makes both of them.
So... Just use the midi yoke port, which if you installed, is already
there?
Ok - are you ready?
Take a deep breath...
Here is the overall routing scheme - then I will describe connections.
BCR2000port to ableton live to midiyoke port to huskervu to BCR2000port
Startup order is important -
1. Start up bcr2000
2. Start up huskervu
3. Start up Live.
In Ableton Live preferences - midi
Ableton Live midi dialog -
Control surface = Mackie control universal.
Control surface input = BCR2000(1) [enable BCR2000 input = remote,
in the list]
Control surface output = Midiyoke1 [enable midiyoke 1 output =
remote in the list]
Huskervu dialog (right click on Huskervu)
MidiInput = midiyoke1
MidiOutput = BCR2000(1)
Once this is setup, you "might" have to close huskervu and live.
Start huskervu then start Live.
That should make you good to go.
Remember - you do not need midiox nor genmce for this to work.
You do need the virtual midi port, "midiyoke" or "maple" installed.
Let me know, you can email me or request chat if you need more help.
