I'm trying to improve a little bit the behringer cubase preset ("Cubase
SX BCF-Preset 1.syx") to suit it for my projects (often 60-80 channels
strips)
I found some problems
1) pressing the push-encoders (encoder group1) sets the pan to "R1"
instead of "<C>"!! (seems to be the .syx file, not the xml)
2) I'd like to setup a bank dedicated to the VST master channels (ins &
outs), but the configuration seems to be relative, so not only the
preset cannot be generic, but also every time I add a channel strip,
the "master bank" would be wrecked!...
3) I've tried to change the assignment of the push-encoders and the
buttons (upper/lower): pressing push-encoders for channel select, and
buttons for mute and solo; the problem is that the upper buttons seem
not to be able to send the 'off' value: so the lower line works ok on
the soloing (instead of muting), but the upper line can switch "mute"
on, but cant' switch off... (.syx file?)
Any idea? (advice, solutions, presets...)
Thanks a lot!Message
