Re: [bc2000] anyone having midi feedback from REAPER?

Sorry,I use the BCF(fader version)
But I DO use Reaper(Love it!)
I just got my BCF last week-end and was using it in Mackie Mode.
I have tried the "learn"function in BCF mode and had intermittent luck.
How do you have it set up in Reaper?(Preference window)
I noticeed to use the BC mode you have to choose that also in the Preference window.
Sorry I could not help but good to see another Reaperite here

I have a BCR. Have been using it on and off for the past year (for
simple tasks) but now that I am rebuilding my studio setup I really
want to get it right.

There are however a few flaws that have put me off using the desk.
1. One is that I could not get it to work properly with my laptop. No
matter what, I had to reconstruct the cc assignments (in Audiomulch)
again and again, over and over. On my studio pc things work alright
sending cc commands to Reaper and Audiomulch.
2. Getting midi feedback (changing settings with my mouse and seeing
changes also on the BCR) has never been successful.
3. A third strange quirk is that the display always is 'nervous'.
There's a constant switching of numbers.
4. I noticed that when I turn a knob on the bottom row the 5th in
that row changes as well. The main light of the particular know
remains at its position but there is a soft glowing of the other
lights as well, completely in junction with the light of e.g. knob
number one in the row.
Is this a physical problem? Do I have a malfunctioning BCR? And is
that the reason I can't get midifeedback?

I understand that's a lot of questions in one post, but let's
simplify it to two main questions:
1. has anyone rigged his BCR up with Reaper and what are the settings?
2. does the above indicate that I indeed have a faulty BCR?

Thanks for replying!
