Since you say that Reason is sending MIDI data to your BCR upon
launch, it seems clear that you use Reason 3. It would be helpful to
include those informations directly in future help requests, since
different soft- and hardware versions can have different functions.
As to your problem. if you want presets that are always the same with
ALL your songs-ALL the times, then try to learn the commands Reason
automatically assigns to each device and stick to it. "Remote
Override" settings are usually project specific and a MIDI CC# that
you have assigned once, cannot be assigned to another function of
another device within the same project.

Also, take the time to read the Reason Manuals regarding MIDI,
Controllers etc. They're pretty extensive and comprehensible.
