The mistake I was making was to use the main mixer, mixer 2 and 3, these don't work in quite the same way they seem to just be a different view of the main mixer and the BCF controls the tracks that you have you have hidden in mixer 2 and 3 if they are not hidden in the main mixer. I now just use the main mixer with different setups in different workspaces, I can recall the workspace from the BCR and control the track with the BCF. Perfect! Cheers
