If I cntrl+(push a button) like the solo button then I can indeed put that track into solo safe mode as if I had done it with a mouse click. I can not however seem to use the shift+click functions. hmmm I did figure out that I can simply push multiple solo buttons at once to have a combination of tracks solo together.
