As far as I know, you can't. I ran into this same problem when I tried to configure my BCF with Sonar HomeStudio 6 XL. The problem is that ACT is one-directional - it receives messages but doesn't output messages. It's a HUGE oversight on Cakewalk's part. I've spoken with their tech support department about it but from what I understand it is still this way in the current version of Sonar (and for all incarnations of Sonar).

Hello,I'm just trying sonar with the Behringer BCF2000.
As sonar indicates it, i booted the BCF2000 in B-Control mode, chose a free preset on it, then launched sonar, configured a new ACT controller and sent the "Behringer BCF2000 Custom" preset to the BCF2000 that i saved in it.
All commands from the BCF are now recieved by Sonar, but no sonar command is recieved back by the BCF.How can i fix this ?I tried to configure the faders settings of the BCF into "motor" which normally let the BCF sliders "obey" the softwares commands, but I couldn't access these parameters via encoder 7. This encoder let me access to params from "1d"- to "damp". That's all.
Any hint about accessing to these ones "Move, Pick-up, Motor" ?Any other solution to let sonar send orders back to the BCF2000 ?Many thanks for your anwsersjico27
