Hey Greg. Was the MIDI timing functioning fine with the pulsar and Live V8 before? Reason I ask is Live has some of the worst MIDI timing issues. Flakey MIDI clock and dropped notes etc. What you've stated above is very common when using Live for outboard MIDI work regardless of the interface you are using.
