Re: Encoder to Rotate Through Commands

you can use the val key word anywhere in a tx message
eg
If you want to use different CC on channel 1 with a value of 100 to arm the clip and 0 to clear it...
$encoder 49
.showvalue on
.mode 1dot
.resolution 50 100 200 400
.minmax 102 119
.tx ifp $B0 val 100 ifn $B0 val 0
encoder 49 bottom left
showvalue - the LED display on the BC
mode - the LED dots around the encoder
resolution - read about this on the WIKI
minmax - set to a range to non declared CC values
tx - transmit this MIDI string
ifp -if turning clockwise
ifn -if turning anticlockwise
So turning it clockwise to arm
$B0 102 100
$B0 103 100
$B0 104 100
..
$B0 118 100
$B0 119 100
$B0 119 100
$B0 119 100
$B0 119 100
turning it anticlockwise to clear
$B0 119 0
$B0 118 0
$B0 117 0
..
$B0 103 0
$B0 102 0
$B0 102 0
$B0 102 0
You need to be more specific about what Midi messages you want to output.
ie what message do you want to use for Live to arm the track.
All the best

I would like to move the arming of tracks from the 8 separate buttons to rotating 1 encoder. I think the ability to rotate through commands could be quite useful in a few other scenarios as well.
