Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi all

I'm new to this forum and to the BCR. I intend to use is to control some hardware and hopefully as Mackie Emulation in Live.

There seems to be problems with both BC Manager and Live recogising the unit.
I have installed the most recent drivers and its running 1.10 firmware.
On opening of "BCmanager 2.03 I get a cannot open MIDI device BCR2000[1] Undefined external error" message twice.
When opening the bcr and relevent ports in Ableton Live midi prefs, the inputs and outputs are highlighted in red and there's no midi signal going through. I am assuming the red is indicating a problem.
The unit is in usb mode.
I am running 32bit XP and the the unit is showing up fine as "B-Control Midi" is Hardware Device manager.

Anybody have any ideas? I have already sent one unit back as it was operating very strangely, so I'm at the point of giving up and getting back to my former life ;-)
