Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi Everyone,
I have an issue with jumping values on my BCR2000 (newest firmware). I'm using one BCR2000 in midi4 (U4 i think) mode in ableton live. The input and output on the BCR2000 are set to BCR2000 port 1 and the track and remote for input are enabled (that's the right setup, correct?). The output for track and remote are disabled. 

Here's what happens: sometimes when i turn a knob the values jump spontaneously. These value jumps are represented on the BCR itself as well. I can delete the midi mapped knob and remap it and then it's fine. There is nothing else mapped to that knob. I have tons of mapped knobs and when I load the project it seems like it's a different knob that's affected!

Any ideas? Am I creating some sorta midi loop by improperly configuring the BCR2000 (at the input/output and track and remote screen)?
