Hi Everyone, Thanks for your replies. I didn't have my BCR in front of my at the time but I do now. Allow me to explain: 1) I misspoke when I wrote midi - I meant USB 4 mode. 2) Different knobs are affected each time. 3) The BCR shows all increments (0-127), but the jumping occurs in ableton live no matter if the movement is fast or slow. If I move slow, I can control the pace of the jumping (ie. it might go from 0 to 62 to 92 to 98 to 127) 4) Re-mapping fixes this, but it's a pain to go through EVERYTHING to make sure it's all fine for a live show.. so many buttons and knobs!! 5) There is no double-mapping occurring so it's not that one knobs is affecting the other. The part that confuses me is that it's all OK after I remap...?! I wonder if I have my BCR setup correctly.. how do you guys have your input/output set in ableton? Thanks for any input! I'm using one BCR2000 in midi4 (U4 i think) mode in ableton live. The input and output on the BCR2000 are set to BCR2000 port 1 and the track and remote for input are enabled (that's the right setup, correct?). The output for track and remote are disabled. > > Here's what happens: sometimes when i turn a knob the values jump spontaneously. These value jumps are represented on the BCR itself as well. I can delete the midi mapped knob and remap it and then it's fine. There is nothing else mapped to that knob. I have tons of mapped knobs and when I load the project it seems like it's a different knob that's affected! > > Any ideas? Am I creating some sorta midi loop by improperly configuring the BCR2000 (at the input/output and track and remote screen)? > > Thanks for any help! > Eric >
