I don't use Logic but since the Mackie protocol is standardized it should be possible. I use my BCR in Mackie mode to control Reaper and it works good. I don't know if there already exists a sysex map specifically for using the BCR in Mackie mode with Logic but if not, you could for example start with the MCU for Live preset here and remap some buttons for your own needs (that's what I did also with the preset I'm using) http://www.geocities.jp/mackicrokontrol/pages/live5.html For the emulated display I use Midi tools (HuskerVu is also possible). You need a 'virtual Midi cable' for that, on PC there's for example MidiYoke. I don't know for Mac, sorry. http://home.kpn.nl/f2hmjvandenberg281/miditls.html Here's a MCU protocol chart: http://web.archive.org/web/20080126093602/http://members.aol.com/mhigrules/MCMap.htm Good luck --- In bc2000@yahoogroups.com, "Simon" <simonvanni@...> wrote: > > does anybody now if it is possible to get the BCR2000 into mackie control mode without the use of LC MXU software, is there a way of loading a mackie control sysex map. > > cheers >
