Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Hi, I'm trying to set up my BCR to control AudioMulch, and am having a problem with 14-bit resolution (I think).  I configured an encoder to 14-bit absolute to control the clock tempo (relative doesn't seem to work on AM) and adjusted the values to 16,383, but the tempo only jumps in increments of 3.9291 beats, which is 500 beats (AM's max) / 128.  So I guess there's a resolution issue.

I seem to recall having seen something about changing resolution behaviour by editing sysex, but it wasn't totally clear to me.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'm on a MacBook running Snow Leopard.  Can I use snoize's SysEx Librarian for this (if it's what I need to do)?
