Steve's correct,

$button 1
  .showvalue on
  .minmax 0 127
  .mode incval 32
  .default 0
  .tx $B0 07 val

gives

$B0 07 32
$B0 07 64
$B0 07 96
$B0 07 00
$B0 07 32

val goes from 0 to 127 96+32=128 so you are back to 0
